We think one of our regions is 'out of step' - how can we tell for sure? Exploratory data analysis (EDA) uses visual and graphical techniques to reveal unusual data points or clusters  that traditional analytical methods sometimes overlook.   

In addition, patterns in data such as non-linear relationships or unsuspected 3-way relationships are often easier to spot with visual EDA techniques.
